One of my very first magazine covers, and it takes me right back.
I was working at Portfolio Weekly at the time, and Tidewater Parent published out of the same building. Their team saw some of my work and asked me to design the cover for their "Teens at the Top" feature. I'd just discovered isometric art and thought it fit — all those little stacked levels felt right for a story about teens climbing to new heights.
