Today Caitlyn and I are headed to Europe for 2 weeks. London, Paris, Lucerne, Venice, Florence and Rome. We are so so excited!
Mira is one of the many fantastic people I worked with while at Port Folio Weekly. She still resides in Norfolk and when she isn’t working as the Promotions Manager at Alot Hotel in Chesapeake, VA she is doing pilates, yoga, or power walking Ghent. Mira responded to my open facebook post with “Me. In a rapturous embrace with Rick Flair.” So I was inspired to cartoon her and Ric Flair! That’s all it takes, people! Something that I can make funny. I didn’t mention Space Mountain in this cartoon but if you know Ric Flair you know what I am talking about.

If you know me you know this is my favorite movie all time. A tribute to the Dude.
Jack Bauer vs Dirty Harry. Dirty Harry took matters into his own hand when crime was out of control back in the 70s. In the 21st Century, terrorists are now the bigger threat and Jack Bauer handles it like Dirty Harry did- throw the laws out the window and get results!
So the ultimate question is- who would win if they were pitted against one another?
If you know me, you know I love this movie. I found out that the original title for this movie was going to be “Johnny Utah” and that Charlie Sheen and Johnny Depp were originally considered for the role.
Also, recent Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow directed this flick, so I say her Oscar is a belated award for this screen gem.
I’ve decided to start a new feature called “People I know”.
I find my friends are all important and this is good practice and also a good place to give tribute. These will usually be images but today I took a few minutes to make a cartoon for one of the craziest characters I have ever met.
